BOHERIZA

The word boheriza comes from ox, since they are the places in which these animals were kept. The hayales (beech forests) are the most representative forests of the Montes de Ordunte. The hayal of La Calera or of the Boheriza, is the one that is located at lower altitude and the least outstanding of all that we have in Carranza. For this reason it is an ideal walk to get to know in family how these magical forests are, with their streams, their sounds and their mosses. In this case, we will not follow any route, but we will walk through the beech forest, we will stop to listen. In addition, we can also know the ancient stocks or hives used by the first beekeepers in the area.
